CI/CD Platform Engineer

Job Summary

To support a mission-critical VA cloud platform, the full-time remote CI/CD Platform Engineer will administer and evolve the CI/CD toolchain, including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, and Terraform Enterprise, for over 21,000 pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Administers and maintains the CI/CD platform infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance optimization
• Manages Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Nexus configurations, including repository administration and artifact integrity enforcement
• Collaborates with DevSecOps Engineers to integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines and enforces environment segregation through pipeline gate controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in CI/CD platform engineering and administration
• Proficient in administering Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, and Terraform Enterprise
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines at scale, including performance optimization and failure analysis
• Active Federal Civilian Public Trust clearance or eligibility for clearance
