CICS System Administrator

Job Summary

As a fully remote CICS System Administrator, the Senior Lead will manage complex systems data, ensure security compliance, and provide technical expertise while collaborating with diverse teams to deliver solutions for high-profile clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide infrastructure support for CICS environments across multiple systems and platforms
• Install, configure, and upgrade CICS versions and related IBM components, ensuring system stability and performance
• Diagnose and resolve system and application issues, utilizing debugging and monitoring tools independently

Required qualifications

• Experience with CICS architecture and product capabilities
• Proficiency in performance tuning and workload balancing
• Familiarity with integration of subsystems such as MQ, z/OS Connect, RACF, and DB2
• Knowledge of COBOL and Assembler programming languages
• Experience in maintaining availability and stability of CICS subsystems
