CICS Systems Programmer Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CICS Systems Programmer Specialist with CICS Administration and Support experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Configuration and support of CICS regions and related software
• Gather documentation for research and problem resolution, including analyzing traces, dumps, and logs
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and assist development teams in troubleshooting application issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of five years of experience in CICS administration in a z/OS environment
• Proficient in configuration, maintenance, and diagnostics in CICS TS
• Experience with CICSPlex setups and multiple LPAR environments
• Knowledge of security and encryption in mainframe systems
