CIP Certified IRB Assistant Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant Director of IRB (Full Board Team) in the Office of Research Protections.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Full Board Team and ensure compliance with regulations
• Manage IRB Committees, including maintaining rosters and ensuring proper documentation
• Develop and maintain IRB policies and training materials, and present educational seminars

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience
• CIP (Certified IRB Professional) credential required within one year of eligibility
• In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations governing human subject research
• Experience in staff selection, training, and performance management
