CIRCC Certified Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist IV - Outpatient Interventional (CIRCC required).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and code outpatient medical records using ICD-10 CM and CPT code sets
• Abstract required data elements and identify when physician queries are necessary
• Maintain quality and productivity standards, mentoring and training on designated coding service lines as needed

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or a closely related field
• 3-5 years of acute hospital-based coding experience
• Experience working in a remote environment preferred
• Relevant certifications such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, COC, CPC, or CIRCC
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
