Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior IR Coder & QA.

Key Responsibilities

• Review denied medical claims to identify coding errors and discrepancies
• Conduct thorough analysis of denied claims and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues
• Perform quality assurance audits and provide feedback and training to coding staff on best practices

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• RHIT and/or CPC certification required; CIRCC required within 12 months of hire
• At least one year of medical billing experience preferred
• 2023 MDM Guidelines required
• In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems
