CIS Controls Implementation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a CIS Controls Implementation Specialist for an 8-12 week remote contract within the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current tools, policies, and systems against the CIS IG1 controls
• Identify security gaps and create a prioritized implementation plan tailored to a cloud-native, education-first organization
• Deliver a fully implemented, operational, and documented CIS IG1 framework by the end of the project

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on implementation experience of CIS Controls, especially IG1
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity in cloud-based environments
• Ability to work independently and manage a project end-to-end
• Experience in recommending, configuring, and deploying tools and workflows
• Experience creating or revising documentation, including policies and procedures
