Cisco ISE NAC Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Cisco ISE NAC Engineer for a long-term remote contracting position, responsible for implementing, administering, troubleshooting, and optimizing Cisco ISE to ensure secure network access across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support Cisco ISE for authentication and authorization policies across wired, wireless, guest, and BYOD devices
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for NAC-related incidents and participate in change management processes
• Maintain documentation, including network authentication runbooks and standard operating procedures

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of enterprise networking/security experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (2.x / 3.x)
• Strong knowledge of 802.1X, MAB, RADIUS, TACACS+, and Active Directory integration
• Experience supporting enterprise NAC environments and troubleshooting Tier 2/3 issues
• Familiarity with change management processes and incident response in large enterprise settings
