Cisco ISE NAC Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Cisco ISE NAC Engineer for a long-term remote contract position, the candidate will implement, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco ISE to ensure secure network access across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support Cisco ISE for secure network access, including authentication and authorization policies
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for NAC-related issues and participate in on-call rotations
• Maintain documentation, including network authentication runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Required qualifications

• 5-10 years of overall IT/network security experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco ISE (2.x / 3.x)
• Strong knowledge of 802.1X, MAB, RADIUS, TACACS+, PKI, and Active Directory integration
• Experience supporting enterprise NAC environments in production
• Solid troubleshooting skills with Tier 2/3 support and change management experience
