Cisco SD-WAN Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing enterprise, the full-time Cisco SD-WAN Engineer will lead the deployment and management of Cisco SD-WAN infrastructure, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and providing technical guidance, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and sustainment of the Cisco SD-WAN infrastructure, including configuration and management of SDN controllers
- Document projects and administrative actions, and ensure compliance with change management policies
- Serve as a high point of escalation for complex network issues, analyzing traffic flows and resolving routing anomalies
Required qualifications
- Deep understanding of Cisco SD-WAN fabric architecture and proven expertise in deploying Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions
- In-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as OMP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
- Experience with traffic monitoring tools like TCPDump and Wireshark
- Ability to obtain TS security clearance
- B.A or B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or 7 years of relevant experience
