Job Summary
Designing and optimizing enterprise voice infrastructure, the remote Cisco Voice Infrastructure Engineer will implement and maintain systems supporting a large-scale contact-center environment on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Design, support, and document Cisco voice architecture, ensuring resilient SIP and PSTN connectivity
- Configure and maintain CUCM, CUBE, voice gateways, and related components for optimal performance
- Troubleshoot complex voice issues and analyze SIP traces to resolve production incidents effectively
Required qualifications
- Experience configuring and maintaining Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and voice gateways
- Deep technical understanding of SIP, RTP, PSTN, and Dial plans
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, including QoS, DNS, TCP/IP, and TLS/SRTP
- Experience with network troubleshooting and packet-analysis tools, such as Wireshark
