CISO Privacy Officer

Job Summary

Leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity and data protection initiatives, the full-time hybrid CISO Privacy Officer will oversee the company's cybersecurity roadmap, manage the data privacy program, and ensure the security of critical systems supporting high-volume B2B operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and advance the cybersecurity roadmap and data privacy program, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Define security architecture principles and standards across various platforms, ensuring early embedding of security in technology decisions
• Lead incident response operations and manage security risk assessments, ensuring effective communication of risks to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with significant exposure to data privacy
• Experience as a CISO, Head of Security, or in an equivalent executive role
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and privacy laws (PIPEDA, CCPA/CPRA)
• Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architecture
• At least one cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM) is required
