CISSP Certified Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

Providing strategic executive leadership, the full-time remote CISSP Certified Chief Information Security Officer will oversee enterprise-wide systems security and data integrity, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while developing security standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Acts as the primary accountability officer for systems security and data integrity, advising executive leadership and the Board of Directors
• Develops and monitors security standards and oversees the execution of information systems security architecture and plans
• Analyzes and resolves escalated IT security issues while managing staff and resources to achieve strategic goals

Required qualifications

• BS in Information Systems or a related field
• CISSP certification is required
• 15+ years of related experience, including 10+ years in senior management roles
• Extensive experience in budget management, contract oversight, and corporate financial planning
• Preferred MBA in a relevant field
