Job Summary
To enhance security measures, the full-time salaried CISSP Certified IT Security Engineer will analyze and correlate information to identify vulnerabilities, assist in resolving security incidents, and coordinate with infrastructure and applications teams, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis of data to identify and prevent network and data compromises
- Provide engineering support for security incidents, including initial triage and resolution
- Perform trend analysis and reporting on security incidents to recommend remediation strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Three years of progressively responsible work experience in IT security
- CISSP certification is required; CISM or GIAC is a plus
- Strong knowledge of network security technologies and operating systems
- Ability to analyze vulnerability and configuration data for systemic security issues
