CISSP Certified VP of MDR

Job Summary

Driving the overarching strategy and operational excellence of a premier security operations practice, the full-time remote CISSP Certified VP of MDR will lead business growth initiatives, manage P&L responsibilities, and ensure world-class client satisfaction while collaborating with technology partners and executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the MDR and Advanced Fusion Center practices
• Oversee P&L management, driving operational efficiency and sustainable revenue growth
• Serve as the executive sponsor for key strategic accounts, fostering long-term relationships and identifying expansion opportunities

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise cybersecurity operations or Managed Security Services
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in relevant fields
• Active CISSP or CISM certification required
• Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar P&Ls and optimizing operational margins
• Deep knowledge of modern SOC tools, SIEM architectures, and AI/LLM frameworks within security orchestration
