Citrix Azure Virtual Desktop Architect

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and architecture for enterprise virtual desktop platforms, the full-time Citrix Azure Virtual Desktop Architect will design and support Citrix infrastructure, evaluate cloud-hosted delivery models, and ensure optimal performance for a healthcare environment, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for the enterprise virtual application and desktop platform
• Design, implement, and support Citrix infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to design hybrid Citrix and cloud architecture

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Windows client/server networking and Active Directory
• 5+ years of experience with server configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
• 5+ years of experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, and related technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field
• Relevant experience may substitute for education requirements based on degree level
