Civil Design Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the engineering, procurement, and construction execution of large-scale combined cycle power plant projects, the remote Civil Design Engineer will develop and coordinate civil design deliverables throughout all phases of project execution, from conceptual engineering through construction support and startup.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate civil engineering design deliverables, including site development plans and grading designs
• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout project execution
• Review geotechnical reports, assist with engineering specifications, and support field engineering by resolving RFIs and field design issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• 7-15 years of civil engineering/design experience in EPC, power generation, or heavy industrial projects
• Previous combined cycle power plant experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Bluebeam
• Familiarity with ASCE, ACI, IBC, OSHA, and local jurisdiction requirements
