Civil Design Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design Manager, Civil (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of civil designer engineers, ensuring project deadlines and objectives are met
• Develop comprehensive civil designs for utility-scale solar projects and conduct feasibility studies
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and regulations while fostering cross-functional collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design, with at least 2 years in the utility-scale solar energy industry
• Demonstrated proficiency in civil design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar)
• Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering and solar development
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure recommended but not required
