Civil Engineer

Job Summary

To solve complex challenges and contribute to a sustainable future, the contract Civil Engineer will work remotely, leveraging 4+ years of design and Civil 3D experience to execute engineering calculations, assist in creating contract drawings, and navigate project permitting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive civil engineering calculations using hand methods, spreadsheets, Mathcad, and 3D modeling software
• Assist in the creation of contract drawings by providing detailed design input and guidance to civil designers
• Leverage advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and knowledge of Hydraflow, PondPack, or WaterCAD to support complex design tasks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering design
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and familiarity with related software (Hydraflow, PondPack, WaterCAD)
• Experience navigating project permitting processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients
