Civil Engineer II, Virginia Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Civil Engineer II, H&H to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to support infrastructure design and flood studies
• Conceptualize civil design approaches and evaluate engineering techniques for projects
• Prepare reports and technical specifications, and assist in resolving design problems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
• EIT certification and/or progress toward earning a Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Three or more years of experience in hydrology & hydraulics or land development engineering
• Experience with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS software in a professional or academic setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and reading construction plans
