Civil Engineering Designer, Colorado EIT

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Designer, Colorado EIT to join the Transit and Rail Group in Denver, with potential for remote work, who will manage construction document production, computer-aided design, and project delivery focused on transit and rail projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the production of drawings, layouts, maps, and 3D modeling using Bentley OpenRoads/OpenRail
• Develop concept plans and construction plan sets, including site layout, track, grading, drainage, utilities, and roads
• Collaborate with project teams and prepare quantity and cost estimates

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction science, or an Associate degree in Engineering Technology/CAD
• Experience reading and understanding construction drawings and engineering concepts
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and communication tools
• 1-3 years of experience in civil design and drafting of rail and related projects
