Civil Engineering Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking qualified candidates, the part-time or full-time Civil Engineering Instructor will teach in-person or online courses in various civil and construction engineering disciplines for the 2025-2026 academic year and Fall Term 2026, while contributing to curriculum development and student mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach in-person and/or online courses in areas such as architectural engineering, construction engineering management, and transportation engineering, while developing course materials
• Facilitate classroom discussions, assess student performance, and foster an inclusive learning environment
• Provide leadership and supervision to undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants and participate in university committees and professional development

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrable interest in teaching and mentoring students
• Ability to work within an established course/curriculum structure
• Proficiency in communicating technical information in written and spoken English
• Commitment to promoting diversity and excellence within the academic community
