Job Summary
Seeking qualified candidates, the part-time or full-time Civil Engineering Instructor will teach in-person or online courses in various civil and construction engineering disciplines for the 2025-2026 academic year and Fall Term 2026, while contributing to curriculum development and student mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach in-person and/or online courses in areas such as architectural engineering, construction engineering management, and transportation engineering, while developing course materials
- Facilitate classroom discussions, assess student performance, and foster an inclusive learning environment
- Provide leadership and supervision to undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants and participate in university committees and professional development
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrable interest in teaching and mentoring students
- Ability to work within an established course/curriculum structure
- Proficiency in communicating technical information in written and spoken English
- Commitment to promoting diversity and excellence within the academic community
