Civil Engineering Technical Lead

Job Summary

As a key member of the Development Engineering team, the full-time remote Civil Engineering Technical Lead will manage the development and improvement of engineering standards and specifications while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance project delivery for utility-scale energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and evolution of civil and structural engineering standards and best practices across the project portfolio
• Improve engineering-related EPC contract exhibits and technical requirements to align with project objectives
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes and foster a culture of innovation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered
• 7+ years of technical civil and/or structural design experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role for utility-scale power projects
• Demonstrated success in developing engineering standards and continuous improvement programs across multiple projects
• Strong understanding of design development, construction methods, and technical risk management
• Experience collaborating across engineering, procurement, construction, and operations functions
