Civil Estimator

Job Summary

To support solar and battery energy storage projects, the full-time Civil Estimator will develop detailed project estimates, collaborate with internal teams, and refine estimating processes, with the option for remote work within the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil cost estimates for solar and battery energy storage system projects
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, and project delivery teams to prepare competitive estimates
• Maintain estimating tools and historical cost data to improve accuracy and efficiency in estimating processes

Required qualifications

• Experience in heavy civil construction, estimating, construction management, or project management
• Knowledge of cost estimating practices and estimating software, such as InEight
• Experience using takeoff software like Bluebeam or AgTek
• Understanding of earthwork, foundations, roads, drainage, and site development activities
• Experience preparing project estimates for construction projects
