Civil Process Specialist Paralegal

Job Summary

To support a growing financial services team, the part-time Civil Process Specialist Paralegal will manage claims processing related to garnishments, levies, liens, and information subpoenas in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Examine and ensure the accuracy and legal sufficiency of garnishments, levies, liens, and subpoenas
• Review account files to identify implicated customer accounts and manage fund restraints and releases
• Prepare and submit response documents to third parties while maintaining a tracking system for escalations

Required qualifications

• Experience with lien, levy, or garnishment processing
• Familiarity with 1099-K tax form corrections
• Proficiency in document and spreadsheet software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High level of reading comprehension
