Civil Structural Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Plant Integration Engineer - Civil Structural and Architecture to support advanced nuclear reactor projects remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and implement structural design bases and strategies for plant design and licensing activities
• Coordinate with design disciplines to establish design information and performance criteria for civil, structural, and architectural integration
• Perform oversight reviews of civil, structural, and architectural work products to ensure compliance with technical requirements

Required Qualifications and Education

• M.S. degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in civil/structural design and analysis or probabilistic risk assessment
• Experience with new nuclear power plant design projects
• Familiarity with commercial and nuclear codes and standards
• Experience in risk-informed performance-based methodologies for external hazard design
