Civil Structural Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and detailing mat and pier type foundations for substation structures, the Remote Civil Structural Engineer will ensure quality and compliance while managing project costs and adhering to client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and detail foundations for various substation structures, including equipment supports and overhead line towers
• Conduct evaluations of steel structures and concrete foundations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with codes
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain quality control and assurance practices throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Civil/Structural) or equivalent from an ABET accredited school
• 5+ years of experience in designing and evaluating steel structures and concrete foundations
• Experience with Transmission & Distribution Substations preferred
• Familiarity with industrial and commercial structure design accepted
