CJIS Certified Security Engineer
Job Summary
To support a large enterprise security team, the full-time Security Automation & Security Engineer (Python/Linux) will develop and implement security automations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and assist with identity and access management in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning, design, development, deployment, and operational support of enterprise security automations and custom security tools
- Develop, test, and maintain automated security workflows and applications using Python, PowerShell, and other technologies
- Support security architects and incident responders through platform troubleshooting and system integration
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Security related field
- Must obtain and retain annual CJIS certification upon onboarding
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on security engineering experience across multiple cybersecurity technologies
- Strong experience in developing security automations and troubleshooting complex technical issues
- Proficiency in Linux system deployment, configuration, and scripting
