CJIS Licensed Technical Services Engineer
Job Summary
To support the deployment of public safety software, the remote Senior Technical Services Engineer will prepare, configure, and test computer hardware and software, ensuring seamless technology rollouts for end-users.
Key responsibilities
- Unbox, assemble, and cable computers, servers, and peripheral hardware
- Load operating systems, apply patches, and create/deploy disk images to workstations
- Test components and system functionality to ensure they meet specifications before shipping
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technologies or equivalent experience
- 7+ years working as a Technical Services Engineer or similar role
- Knowledge of PC hardware components and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Chrome OS)
- Familiarity with IP addressing, networking hardware, and LAN/WAN cabling
- Industry certifications like CompTIA A+ are highly preferred
