Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Claims Representative will investigate, evaluate, and resolve low-complexity third-party auto, casualty, and premises liability claims while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and insureds.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate claims, including coverage analysis and liability assessment
• Initiate timely contact with all parties involved in the claims process, typically within 24 hours of assignment
• Negotiate and resolve claims within assigned authority, preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with client-specific handling instructions

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
• One year of claims handling or insurance experience preferred
• Experience with low-complexity third-party auto, casualty, and premises liability claims strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for claims handling experience
• AIC, INS, or other insurance-related certifications preferred
