Job Summary
Proactively investigating and adjusting highly complex claims, the full-time remote Claims Adjuster III will ensure claims are handled within authority limits while serving as a resource for training and mentoring less experienced adjusters.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and perform adjustments on complex claims, ensuring compliance with standard procedures
- Assist in training new adjusters and identify trends or problems related to claims adjustments
- Support customer service efforts by handling phone calls and ensuring corporate goals are met
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 7 years of claims experience with a comprehensive understanding of relevant systems and procedures
- Ability to analyze information and recognize trends related to claims adjustments
- Experience in mentoring and guiding less experienced staff
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple customer service demands effectively
