Key Responsibilities

• Process first-time claims and verify reimbursement eligibility
• Research and determine the status of medical-related claims
• Maintain records and meet department production and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in health insurance, claims processing, or related fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Basic math skills and knowledge of medical coding (ICD-9/10, CPT, HCPCs)
• Ability to complete basic claims training programs within 6 months of hire
