Claims Analyst

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of complex cargo claims, the full-time remote Claims Analyst will drive comprehensive claim management from initiation to resolution, focusing on financial oversight, external communications, and strategic analysis of claims trends.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage complex cargo claims, ensuring timely and accurate handling while analyzing trends for actionable insights
• Lead high-level external communications and relationships, addressing inquiries and driving resolutions with minimal management assistance
• Comprehensively manage financial aspects of claims, ensuring compliance and utilizing insights to protect the company's financial interests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or 3 years of relevant professional experience
• 5+ years of experience managing claims, preferably in cargo claims within a 3PL environment
• Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Proficient in Google Suite with the ability to conduct basic risk analysis and data reporting
• Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills
