Claims Analyst

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of complex and high-value cargo claims, the full-time remote Claims Analyst will drive claim management from initiation to resolution while analyzing trends to develop proactive solutions and ensuring financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage complex cargo claims, negotiating settlements and processing financial transactions while analyzing trends for actionable insights
• Lead high-level external communications and relationships, addressing complex inquiries and driving resolutions with minimal management assistance
• Comprehensively manage financial aspects of claims, ensuring accuracy in receivables and payables while utilizing insights for proactive strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or 3 years of relevant professional experience
• 5+ years of experience managing claims, with a preference for cargo claims in a 3PL environment
• Proficiency in Google Suite and basic risk analysis and data reporting
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills
