Claims Analyst

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Claims Analyst, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of complex cargo claims, driving comprehensive claim management from initiation to resolution while integrating strategic analysis of claims trends to identify risks and develop proactive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage complex cargo claims from filing to resolution, including negotiation and financial transaction processing
• Lead high-level external communications and relationships, addressing complex inquiries and driving resolutions with minimal management assistance
• Comprehensively manage financial aspects of claims, ensuring accurate balancing of receivables and payables while utilizing financial insights for proactive strategies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or 3 years of relevant professional experience
• 5+ years of experience managing claims, with a preference for cargo claims in a 3PL environment
• Proficiency in Google Suite and ability to conduct basic risk analysis and data reporting
• Exceptional organizational skills and a high attention to detail
• Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills
