Claims Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a fully remote Claims Analyst with over 1 year of experience in claims and banking, who will utilize proprietary software to assess and review claim documents, communicate with claimants, and ensure compliance with departmental standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilize proprietary software tools to access and review claim documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations as needed
• Communicate directly with claimants via phone or email and draft claimant-facing communications based on provided guidance
• Meet and exceed departmental expectations for accuracy and productivity while contributing subject area expertise to processing guidelines

Required qualifications:

• Professional degree or equivalent experience in claims or banking
• Prior experience in claims processing or a related field
• Strong critical thinking skills with sound judgment
• Ability to sit at a computer workstation for extended periods
• Basic math knowledge for data analysis and verification
