Job Summary
Handling complex and high exposure bodily injury and property damage claims, the full-time remote Claims Analyst with Adjuster License will investigate and adjust claims while directing outside counsel and vendors in the claims-handling process.
Key responsibilities
- Investigates and adjusts claims, directing outside defense counsel and vendors in the claims-handling process
- Assists the Claims Manager in identifying exposures and recommending solutions while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Supervises outside vendors and interacts with insurance carriers and third-party claimants to manage complex claims effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience with seven or more years in casualty claims
- Strong technical skills in claims handling and a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverage
- Adjuster licenses required for various states, with the ability to obtain necessary licensing within 90 days
- Experience managing large exposure and complex claims, including litigated matters
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with claimants, attorneys, and internal teams
