Claims and Litigation Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist in Claims & Risk-Claims & Litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee medical professional liability claims and litigation, developing case strategies and collaborating with defense counsel
• Manage all aspects of litigated claims, including discovery requests and expert witness retention
• Prepare presentations on large loss matters and negotiate settlements with patients and attorneys

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience, or 5 years of applicable job-specific experience required
• 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred
