Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Assistant to support the claims team in managing claims-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the claims process through report reconciliation, documentation maintenance, and accurate claims handling
- Handle overflow calls and emails, providing customer assistance and sending requested forms
- Assist management with developing new letters/forms, maintaining electronic claim files, and monitoring claim status
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of insurance experience
- Ability to navigate multiple systems for claim adjudication support
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong data entry skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer requirements
