Job Summary

To support the workers' compensation process, the full-time Claims Assistant will track medical records, prepare documents, set up appointments, and assist with inquiries from injured workers and other stakeholders in a remote or hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide professional customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting callers in the unit's telephone queue
  • Research and obtain necessary medical and claim information, coordinating with medical providers and policyholders
  • Audit claim records and maintain thorough documentation to ensure accurate benefit delivery
Required qualifications:
  • Two years of administrative office experience in a high-volume, team-oriented environment with a focus on customer service
  • Experience in workers' compensation claims is preferred
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Other combinations of skills and experience may be considered
