Job Summary

Assisting in the claims process, the full-time Claims Assistant will communicate with providers and policyholders, perform clerical tasks, and maintain accurate claim records while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to gather claim information and handle telephonic intake
  • Perform clerical tasks to support the claim process and maintain accurate monthly reports
  • Analyze claim mail and follow-ups for the maintenance of disability claims and issue benefit payments as needed
Required qualifications
  • 2+ years of claims or customer service experience or equivalent
  • Proficient with desktop applications such as MS Office
  • Ability to navigate multiple software and web applications effectively
  • Experience in maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Capacity to learn and understand a broad range of products related to claims
