Claims Associate

Job Summary

To support recent college graduates in launching their careers, the fully remote Claims Associate - Oregon Licensed will participate in a 6-month paid immersive learning experience focused on claims management, client service excellence, and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in structured learning through instructor-led sessions, online modules, and mentorship to build foundational insurance knowledge and claims operations skills
• Shadow experienced claims professionals and gradually take ownership of workers' compensation claims while applying learned concepts in a simulated environment
• Communicate with stakeholders to support empathetic claims handling and ensure compliance with client service instructions and carrier guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4-year degree from an accredited institution preferred
• Proven experience in a relevant field may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Strong familiarity with M365 products (e.g., Outlook, Word, basic Excel, and PPT)
• Ability to adapt to changes in procedures and technology
• Curious, learning-focused mindset with strong time management skills
