Claims Associate

Job Summary

To support a mission of simplifying healthcare, the full-time remote Claims Associate will resolve billing issues, assist members with understanding benefits, and navigate complex claims while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Research and resolve benefit claims issues, billing discrepancies, and coding errors while educating members on their benefit plan coverage
• Handle assigned cases promptly by collaborating with plan documents, carriers, providers, and members to identify and resolve issues
• Assist members in setting up payment arrangements and ensure claims are processed in adherence to established policies and regulations

Required qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required; Associate degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of one year of customer service, healthcare, or claims experience required
• Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel is required
• Ability to pass standardized testing and interviews
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish may be required based on program needs
