Claims Business Technical Analyst

Job Summary

To support the implementation of automation and efficiency projects, the full-time Claims Business Technical Analyst will provide business technical support across the Service Division, coordinating with IT and claims system vendors while managing claims governance and related reporting procedures in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provides technical support for the successful implementation of automation projects to achieve claims timeliness and quality goals
• Coordinates project prioritization with Service departments and collaborates with IT and vendors for implementation and maintenance
• Conducts User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects, system fixes, and enhancements while managing claims stop governance

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum of 5 years of broad-based Operations or IT experience in managed healthcare or a related industry
• Claims systems knowledge is required, with a strong understanding of NASCO or FACETS systems
• Project management experience is a plus, along with a background in process improvement
• Proficiency in MS Office products and familiarity with claims processing mandates and legislation impacts
