Claims Coding Associate

Job Summary

Providing expert support in the Claims Department, the fully remote Claims Coding Associate will manage coding and processing payments, recoveries, transcriptions, escheats, and IRS data entry while assisting with various IT and audit-related tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Financial Claim Affidavits and assist with EPIC Help Desk requests for Claims production support
• Handle salvage and subrogation recoveries, as well as claims related to escheats and transcriptions
• Process bulk payment entries, voids, and IRS data entry including W9 and 1099 forms

Required qualifications

• Experience in claims support and financial processing
• Knowledge of coding and data entry procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC systems and reporting requirements
• Understanding of salvage and subrogation claims
• Ability to provide MCCA reporting for PIP
