Job Summary

Managing claims and suits against policyholders, the full-time Claims Consultant - Adjuster's License will confirm coverage, interpret coverage issues, and oversee litigation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Confirm coverage and manage claims and suits against policyholders
  • Select legal counsel and manage litigation with outside counsel
  • Negotiate settlements and provide service to insureds to assist in sales and retention efforts
Required qualifications
  • J.D. preferred, or a Bachelor's degree with relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of five years of claims and/or litigation experience, preferably in healthcare liability
  • Strong negotiating and coverage evaluation skills
  • Adjuster's license or ability to obtain within 90 days may be required
