Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Consultant in Management Specialty Lines (Surety).

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, and damages to set claim strategy and settlement
• Provide timely evaluation of claims, manage reserves, and deliver outstanding customer service
• Assist in developing, coaching, training, and mentoring team members

Required Qualifications:

• College degree preferred, Juris Doctorate desired
• Acquire required Federal and/or state licenses/registrations within designated time period
• More than five years of claims handling experience in specific line of business
• Demonstrated experience handling higher severity and/or complex claims and litigation
• Proven experience analyzing and handling complex coverage issues
