Claims Consultant - Property Casualty

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Consultant - Property Casualty and Auto Liability (Hybrid or Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve complex claims through investigation, evaluation, and disposition
• Determine coverage, establish reserves, and negotiate settlements for large loss claims
• Communicate with business partners regarding claims trends and provide training to less experienced representatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; JD preferred
• 5+ years of experience in handling complex auto and general liability claims
• 5+ years of experience with litigated claims
• Familiarity with the litigation process and ability to direct defense counsel
• Experienced negotiator comfortable with direct negotiations with plaintiff attorneys
