Claims Consultant with Adjuster's License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Consultant - Healthcare Professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm coverage and manage claims and suits against policyholders
• Interpret, analyze, and resolve coverage issues while managing litigation with outside counsel
• Negotiate settlements and provide service to insureds, assisting in sales and retention efforts

Required Qualifications

• J.D. preferred or a Bachelor's degree with relevant industry experience
• Minimum of five years of claims and/or litigation experience, preferably in healthcare liability
• Strong negotiating and coverage evaluation skills
• Adjuster's license or ability to obtain within 90 days may be required
