Claims Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Coordinator, Zero Balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and submit claims identified as needing correction by payer reimbursement auditors
• Verify claims submission accuracy and resubmit requests with necessary details
• Implement and maintain remote access for Zero Balance clients and document claims status in the internal database

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
• Proficient knowledge of Excel, including data manipulation and formulas
• Working knowledge of medical coding terms such as DRG, CPT/HCPCS, and revenue codes
• Medical coding certification preferred
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
