Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Coordinator, Zero Balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and submit claims identified as needing correction by payer reimbursement auditors
- Verify claims submission accuracy and resubmit requests with necessary details
- Implement and maintain remote access for Zero Balance clients and document claims status in the internal database
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
- Proficient knowledge of Excel, including data manipulation and formulas
- Working knowledge of medical coding terms such as DRG, CPT/HCPCS, and revenue codes
- Medical coding certification preferred
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
